My city has two maps.
One that Google shows in the cellular phones.
The one that is spread on the walls of the office,
Yes! that's the first kind that I am talking about.
And then, there is another one that runs in my head.
It is as prompt and accurate as Google map itself.
It speaks with the same matter of fact voice
However, it chokes from time to time due to some strange reason..
Is there a connection issue there too?
Google map says, "Drive straight onto T Road for 500 meters and turn left"
My map says, "It is actually called the H Road! Handhold Road, that is.
Do not listen to Google. It does not know most of the things still.
Walk slow. Hold the fingers that slipped out of a sweaty palm, by that ancient gate that perhaps never opened."
My journey around the city often takes me through the DD Road
And I never let the Google map speak.
I don't need the Google map here. I know every nook and corner of this road.
From the places of worship, to the places where they make music.
However the voice in my head does not stop instructions.
"Welcome! You have reached the W Road.
The road for Waiting.
Especially at the nights, when the shadows become longer than everyone.
When the shadows make mistakes of knocking every other door, looking for you!
Choose the name. Don't delay. The road awaits."
In the B Road much ahead,
Its forever winters for me.
Leaves tremble seeing me and the branches let them go.
They come rushing to me and whisper as if they are co-conspirators.
"This road, must be named the Road of the Lost Kiss! It cant be called anything else.
Its a strange world in which they unnecessarily give heavy names to these beautiful paths.
You must find the kiss here by that cherry tree, near the parking.
Make sure it gets its real name.
Do it! Before you go away forever,
Turning left."
