You passed your worries when you made love yesterday!
Your tender kisses oozed pain that your heart felt
They were interspersed with frowns and sighs
And when you hugged me, you held me for life.
You hid your face at the nape of my neck even when you did not kiss.
I looked at your face as you closed your eyes
your laugh lines were drawn upside down
I kissed your forehead lightly,
Almost blown on it to let the frown go away,
It did not.
"I love you!" you whispered, but this time it was the sound of gratitude!
I smiled with and kissed you again. I asked, "Are you happy here?"
You nodded and held me tighter.
Some days we look for answers that eluded us forever..
I look up at the sky and confirm if my favorite star constellation still hangs there.
Some of us curl ourselves up in the question mark around our loved ones like my favorite poet says...
We learn to live with questions on those days because, answers, we will never get.
Some days you send-out laughter in my veins, you pour it through my lips.
I giggle for hours afterwards.
You hold me and I cant stop laughing! Neither can you.
We fear waking up the neighbors
We go shhhhhh.... on each other as we roll on the bed together, laughing.
You let me go, only to hug me tighter with a stretched smile on your face.
My kisses tickle you, your kisses bring out the happiest memories from every corner of my brain.
Even the long forgotten ones.
The room smells warm.
Your mouth tastes of dark chocolate.
You are everything I am happy about.
Some days we let ourselves be happy!
We know that the world is still as much grey as the sky of my polluted city
But we do not let that bother us.
We allow ourselves to be forgiven, to be cherished, to be pulled into a whirlpool of laughter!
We make our own sunshine in the white sheets, in the flash of your teeth, in the twinkle of our eyes.
The world melts away.
